#1. What year was Queen’s The Miracle released?

Released on 22 May 1989, The Miracle is the bands thirteenth studio album. It reached number 1 in the UK, German, Dutch, Swiss & Austrian charts. It was recorded between Jan 1988 & Jan 1989.


#2. What is Brian May’s Guitar called?

Brian’s guitar was called “Red Special”. He built it with his father in his late teens out of an old piece of mahogany fireplace. It was responsible for many of Queens famous riffs & played a large role in Queen’s sound. He has continued to use it or almost identical replicas throughout his career.

Freddie Mercury was the oldest member by almost a year and was born 5th September 1946.

#7. Where is this statue of Freddie located?

On 25 November 1996, a bronze statue statue of Mercury was unveiled in Montreux, Switzerland overlooking Lake Geneva, almost five years to the day since his death. Freddie had fallen in love with the place in the late 70s & Queen decided to purchase Mountain Studios there in Montreux in 1979. Queen recorded six studio albums there between 1978 & 1995 before selling the studio to Queen’s long time producer David Richards. The studio is now a museum about Queen & is free to visit. It’s called Queen: The Studio Experience & is located inside Casino Barrière de Montreux.

The Magic Tour was Queen’s final tour with Freddie as their lead singer.. The tour consisted of 26 concert dates in Europe in 1986. More than one million people saw Queen on the tour & it concluded with a 120,000 strong audience at Knebworth Park, Stevenage, UK.
